Weekend Update: Catch The Grateful Dead Exhibit At The New York Historical Society

3 Sep

We all need a psychedelic experience once in a while. For a groovy music-meets-history afternoon this weekend, head to the New York Historical
Society (until September 5th) to pay homage to San Franciscan band,The Grateful Dead. With archive materials including audio and video recordings, album art, instruments, photos and more on display, the exhibition traces the band’s influence from the ‘60s through the ‘90s, with an emphasis on their political history and the subculture of Deadheads. For a ‘60s style fix, try our wide-leg Ginger jean.
