We’re Not Saying No To Free Malaysian Food!

12 Oct

If you haven’t jetted to Phmom Penh or seen the temples of Ankgor Wat, this one-of-a-kind food cart is bringing you a step closer without the steep ticket price. Actually, no money is involved at all when you’re noshing tasty bites at the Malaysian Kitchen Food Truck, which will be cruising around the city until November 19. Each day, the meal-on-wheels will be serving samples from different restaurants in NYC that serve Malaysian food (think Fatty Crab and Café Asean) at places like Union Square or Madison Square Park. And, if you haven’t tried delicacies like Kari Ayam (curried chicken in an onion, tomato, and yogurt-based sauce) or Nasi Lemak (rice cooked in rich, creamy coconut milk with egg, sambal, and spices), we suggest you follow the truck’s twitter feed—it might be around the corner from your office—no passport necessary!
