7 Obsession: Our Cozy, Oversized Dolman Sweater

29 Nov

We love borrowing duds from our dudes…there’s nothing like slipping into an oversized pair of jeans or a loose blazer for comfort that manages to look cool. So, we’re pretty amped about our new Dolman Sweater, which borrows its slouchy structure from the boys, but manages to fit you right. Kinda amazing for a night on the couch with vino and a flick, the soft, gray cashmere blend V-neck also can get grown up paired with some skinnies and high heels. Hands off guys!

Lindsay Lohan Looks Healthy And Happy Rocking Our Jeans

17 Nov

Though Lindsay Lohan has had a tough time of it lately, it finally looks like she’s cleaning up her act with a stint in rehab that’s actually working! She’s been taking little day trips for some quality-time with friends and family, and we think she looks pretty healthy and happy in our jeans. Plus her outfit choice—cowboy boots, a wife beater, and a flannel—makes us happy!

Stacy Keibler Styles Our Leather Rumble Jacket Right

16 Nov

You can’t mess with Stacy Keibler—the blonde star was a former professional wrestler. And she proves her strength transcends the arena with her equally tough style savvy. We spotted her leaving a restaurant covered up in our Leather Rumble Jacket, and her outfit was certainly drool-worthy: Think a gray, nubby scarf, dark jeans, over-the-knee boots, an industrial bag and, for a little extra verve, a drilby hat (with the cutest little feather!). Talk about a chic champion.

Our Birthday Bash With Vogue Brought Out Hollywood’s Hottest Dudes

15 Nov

We’re pretty party crazy—after all, we only turn 10 once! We filled you in on our Vanity Fair bash, and now we’re giving you the 411 on last week’s intimate dinner we threw with Vogue to celebrate our new book, The Seven Senses. Some of Hollywood’s hottest man-candy came out to party, including Matthew Rhys, Dave Annable, and Lorenzo Martone. The gals weren’t too shabby either—Odette Yusman, Perrey Reeves, Emmanuelle Chirqui, and Rashida Jones sipped cocktails from Patron and danced to the beats of DJ Angelique Bianca. And, of course, our fans didn’t leave empty-handed: All the guests got our new book!

7 Spotting: Kourtney Kardashian Gives Our Slim Trouser A Glam-Chic Vibe

12 Nov
Since the Kardashian girls have descended on NYC, downtown Manhattan has not been the same. But we’ll give it to the world’s biggest reality stars for sporting the coolest blues with aplomb. In fact, we just snapped Khloe, taking a stroll with sis Kim, wearing our ultra-flattering Slim Trouser in Darling Cleo. Paired with her shaggy cropped jacket, she looks positively perfect. The classic up-do is a nice touch, too!

NYC’s Hottest Pre-Art Basel Party!

11 Nov

If you’re not familiar with Art Basel Miami, it’s pretty much the hottest thing in art like ever. But even if you’re not going (December 2-5) you can still get in on all the art action right here in NYC. On November 18, the Chelsea Art Museum will play host to Artlog’s annual Pre-Miami Collectors party, bringing together the chicest gallerists, collectors (natch), writers, and tastemakers. We’re loving everything about this bash, from the copious cocktails and snacks from Shake Shack,  to music from The Misshapes and design duo Timo Weiland & Alan Exckstein, plus an art projection from artist Conrad Ventur. Getting your art on has never been so fun.

Thursday, November 18, 8:30 p.m. to 12 a.m., Chelsea Art Museum, 556 West 22nd Street

Tickets, $25, available here.

Happy Birthday To Us! Party Pix From Our 10th Anniversary Celebration With Vanity Fair

10 Nov
So maybe 10 isn’t 21, but we think it’s a pretty big milestone. To celebrate our diamond birthday, we did it up right 7 style, with a monster bash last night hosted byVanity Fair. The fete, held at an extravagant private home in Bevery Hills, featured the Seven Senses gallery—a massive, one-of-kind expression of 7 For All Mankind through an interactive, multi-media experience. Guest could literally go through a whole range of rad senses in different sections of the manse—sight, smell, sound, taste, touch, intuition and style—all based on the photography from our new brand new coffee table book of the same name (on sale in mid-November exclusively at our boutiques and e-commerce site). Fans like Amy Smart, Justin Long, and Nikki Reed definitely had a night to remember—we think they’ll never look (or touch, or smell…) at 7 the same way again!

A Funky Art (By Car!) Tour You Won’t Regret

8 Nov

In other cities, galleries are usually located in one district, close together and easy to hit in an afternoon. In L.A., the art scene is more spread out, meaning that hopping from one spot to the next takes a lot of planning—and a car. Well, Angelenos art-lovers, we think you’ve hit the jackpot with this super-funky art tour, North by Northeast. It’s a self-guided auto tour where you can peep the homes and studios of over 100 artists in the area journalists have dubbed NeLa (Northeast Los Angeles)—think areas like Eagle Rock, Highland Park, Glassell Park, Montecito Heights and Mount Washington. So, stock up on gas, give you car a polish, and bring a notebook. This isn’t your typical roadtrip.

Sunday, Nov. 21, 9:30 a.m. – 5 p.m, tickets available herePreview party: Nov. 13, 7-10 p.m. at Future Studio Gallery, 5558 North Figueroa Street, Los Angeles

Ashlee Simpson-Wentz Has Family Time With Our Gwennies!

5 Nov

There’s only a few people who can give family time a rocker edge, and of course Ashlee Simpson-Wentz is one of them. We spotted her in a pair of our  Gweneveres in Rock Ferry (awesome ’80s gray-pebbled style) hile out shopping at Whole Foods with her husband Pete and aww-dorable son Knox, and boy did she look like one trendy mommy! We love how she paired her Gwennies with a cute pair of Converse high-tops, a soft, oversized shirt, and a white, cashmere beanie—but her super wide smile was our favorite accessory of all.

7 Obsession: Dare To Bare In This Daring Dress

4 Nov

At this time of year, all the boutiques have their visual merchandising team working O.T., busting out the Christmas trees and the twinkling, colored lights to prepare for the holiday shopping season. And, when we start to see themes change in store windows (ours included), we know it’s only a matter of time until our calendars are jam-packed with more winter parties than we can shake some mistletoe at—meaning we need to start thinking about cocktail dresses. Enter our Daring Dress a sexy and sleek LBD that’s the perfect holiday party solution. Just don’t you dare call it boring: The double-knit, 4-way stretch fabrication is overlaid with a subtle leather layer strip with punched-out holes that make it stand out from the rest of the boring black pack. We’ll drink to that!
