Modern style icon and heiress, Daphne Guinness has a closet choke-full of clothes that most girls could only dream about.  And now thanks to The Museum at FIT, the public can take an intimate look into her revered collection of designer garments.  Open until January 7, 2012, Daphne Guinness at The Museum at FIT showcases 100 articles of clothing from Guinness’s personal collection.  The exhibit features exquisite designs by everyone from Alexander McQueen to Rick Owns, and from Valentiano to Azzedine Alaia.  In addition to the vast assortment of her personal clothes on display, the exhibit also features films, videos, and images, of and by her.  Stop in anytime Tuesday-Friday from noon-8 pm or Saturdays from 10 am-5 pm.  Admission is free and open to the public.  For more information go to the FIT website.
