Mid Winter Style File

7 Jan

Now that the holidays have come and gone, things can get a bit dreary here in New York City. It’s getting even colder and there’s no hope of another vacation in sight!

So what do Manhattanites do when the going gets tough? The tough get chic-er! Here’s a breakdown of what a few of 7 For All Mankind’s favorite, stylish city dwellers have been donning in the past week or two that has reminded us just how fun it cane be to bundle up.

Atlantic- Pacific: Haute Cou-“Tore”

Atlantic Pacific’s Blaire Eadie is no stranger to the idea of looking good in any climate. This bi-coastal babe can mix and match like the best of them. She started the new year off on the right foot in a pair of 7 For All Mankind Roxanne Skinnies in New Ultra Destroyed paired with a classic blue button-down shirt, minimalist neutral coat, an oversized leather bag and a large-brim hat. The brown leather gives it a rustic vibe while the straight lines of the coat keep it city.

Late Afternoon: Mixed Media

Liz from Late Afternoon proved to be a master of her craft with her latest foray into mixed prints. For this look, one leopard isn’t enough! Her wild and cozy coat is only matched by the leopard print on her boots and capped with a gold toe and heel. Rivaling the gold detail in her step is the gold, lacy luster of her 7 For All Mankind Skinnies in Metallic Gold Jacquard. Minimizing this maximized look, she twisted her long blonde locks into a slouchy braid to keep things casual.

Brooklyn Blonde: Back To Basics

Our favorite blogger from across the bridge recently stepped out in classic dark blue jeans, military coat and cozy red accents. Mixed with simple, gold bracelets and a skull ring, this look has a preppy vibe but the red beanie keeps it hip. Her 7 For All Mankind Slim Illusions in Rinse are the perfect balance between buttoned-up and casual and mixed with timeless red pumps, she’s ready to kick winter’s butt!

My Style Pill: Moody Winter

Christine Cameron bundled up in a chunky, cable-knit off white sweater, 7 For All Mankind Skinnies in Burgundy Velvet with Black Foil Brocade, tall black boots and tortoise sunglasses. The velvet jeans are so warm and cozy and their merlot sheen is matched only by her wine-stained lips. Her rose gold watch and wide-brimmed hat top off the look with an air of old-fashioned charm while the thick sweater replaces a coat while keeping her toasty.

These ladies prove that cold-weather style doesn’t have to be all fleece and parkas. To really beat the cold this winter, keep it cozy and maximize on prints and knits. For more on our favorite blogger looks check out Denim Dossier here and to Like us on Facebook here.
