STYLE SESSIONS: The Rule Breakers, Part 1

6 Sep

There are some women for whom fashion is just second nature. This is the case for certain bloggers and digital influencers who constantly break boundaries with their unique personal aesthetic and bold sense of style.

Blair Eadie (founder of Atlantic-Pacific) and Jane Aldridge (founder of Sea of Shoes), are two such individuals who live this ideal both in and out of their closet.  The perfect example of what happens when innovation and artistry collide, pairing them with the new 7FAM x Malhia Kent collection proved to be a glam proposition we couldn’t resist exploring.

Her Fashion Mantra

Fashion is the blogger’s biggest creative outlet as it allows her to wake up everyday and become someone new through her outfit choices.

Her Malhia Kent Look

She was inspired by the rich and vibrant pop of cobalt tweed in the Moto Jacket in Blue Metallic Stripe Jacquard and chose a matching skirt as a way to perfectly tie the two pieces together.

Her High Fashion Credentials

One of the first and most influential bloggers out there, Jane’s eclectic style and signature flame-hued tresses have sparked millions of followers and more than a few design collaborations.

Boundary Pushing Moment

Finding her boundary-breaking style at a young age, Jane ransacked pieces from her mother’s clothing line and began wearing tiered ruffled Russian wedding skirts, long sleeve poet blouses and cowboy boots to school.

Her Fashion Mantra

Jane’s look is something she describes as spontaneous, a little bit grungy and totally denim-centric. She continues to push the fashion limits by challenging herself to wear outrageous pieces whenever the mood suits her.

Her Malhia Kent Look

She was inspired to add a bad girl edge to the luxe look of the jeans – the Pieced Skinny in Egyptian Gold Jacquard. Her vintage t-shirt was a recent Salvation Army find, which she spruced up with a sleek tux blazer and of course, the perfect black heel.
