You Are What You Eat

Summertime calls for backyard BBQ’s with friends, freshly picked berries, and cooling off with a refreshing bowl of citrus sorbet.  Today’s post features folks sporting melon, berry, and citrus hues for a fresh take on pops of summer color.  Compliment these crisp colors with a nice fitting pair of white jeans or styling them with a sharp green hue for a slightly preppy spin.

It’s Electric!

Add some spark to your wardrobe this summer with tops, jeans, and accessories in electrifying shades.  Choose from a rainbow of colors: neon yellow, florescent orange, or even a vivacious blue to spice it up.  If you prefer to keep these colors from overwhelming your ensemble, try pairing them with soft neutrals or basic black.  But if you’re feeling brave, try styling two bold colors together for a trendy colorblock look.  The key is finding the hue that suits you!

The individuals featured in today’s post show that just a little bit of red goes a long way.  Turn heads and capture someone’s attention with just the slightest touch of rouge – it’s simple yet effective.  Remember Jennifer Lawrence’s breathtaking red dress at this year’s Oscars?  Exactly.  Incorporate this saucy shade into your wardrobe with go-to pieces like a hat, sunglasses, or even headphones.  Regardless of how you style it, someone will be sure to stop and notice.

A Short Story

22 Jun

Summer is officially here, and these guys are definitely keeping it cool with their array of colorful shorts.  Each of them has a slightly different approach to how they styled their shorts, but they all stay clean and polished.  Keep shorts from looking sloppy by pairing them with a crisp button down like our Lightweight Chambray Panel Shirt or even a classic polo.  Top off the look with a leather belt and a super stylish pair of shades.  Staying cool in the warm summer months never looked so good!

I Only Have Eyes for Blue

Denim is in our DNA here at 7 For All Mankind, so naturally we love anything indigo.  This summer we spiced up our go-to color with several pieces that come in a bold electric blue hue.  Whether it’s the color of your finger nails or a pair of silky shorts, this vibrant tone is sure to make a statement.  Below are a few people we spotted on the streets of NYC pulling off this color in a small way, but with big impact.  How will you be wearing your blues this summer?

Purple Perfection

17 Jun

Happy Friday everyone!  Continuing with our series of street style photos that focus on pops of summer color, today’s post is all about purple and violet tones.  We spotted pops of purple in items as small as a feather clipped into a young lady’s hair, to a gauzy floral scarf, and even a man sporting a bright violet polo.

Subtly weave this royal hue into your wardrobe with accessories like our Montecito shades, or wear it in a bolder way with our Paradise Top.  If wearing an intense color seems scary to you, tone it down by pairing it with a neutral colored item such as our men’s Cargo Short.  Finding a way to make something work for your personal style is half the fun with fashion!

A Vision in Green

15 Jun

Last weekend, a photographer friend of mine and I hit the streets of NYC looking for folks who inspired us with their great summer style.  There were tons of people who caught our eye, but the ones that stood out the most were the individuals who incorporated a pop of color into their outfit – thus inspiring the upcoming series of blog posts.

To kick off the series, I’ll be focusing on all things green.  From the teal waters of the ocean to bountiful and lush gardens, green evokes countless thoughts of summertime.  Throwing on a pop of green instantly gives your outfit a sense of vibrancy and life.  Below we have a few examples of how green can be effectively styled into an outfit.  The gentleman uses his bright mint shorts as a statement piece, whereas the young lady’s turquoise necklace stands out against her muted military green jacket.

Here at 7 For All Mankind, we’ve also found a way to incorporate this fresh color into our summer line.  Take for example the women’s Button Side Seam Short in a washed Jade color or the more subtle men’s Shadow Gingham Fitted Shirt in Island.  No matter how you wear it; green is sure to make you stand out in a crowd.  It sure caught our attention!

Stay tuned for more street style posts…this is only the beginning!
